Archaeology Scotland have been helping us investigate a possible promontory fort site at Avon Gorge in Chatelherault Country Park. They organised survey training with a total station in 2019 and training in QGIS, a geographical information system. They also organised two small digs in August and December 2021. We hope to go back for a further dig at the end of September 2022. The following article was in the Spring 2022 edition of the Archaeology Scotland newsletter, which is free to members.
